Aquópolis in Villanueva de la Cañada
Aquópolis in Villanueva de la Cañada is probably the aquatic park par excellence in Madrid in summer, especially since the closure of its other mythical headquarters in San Fernando de Henares. And if you like strong emotions in the form of slides, you can't miss it!

How to get there
This Aquópolis is located in the town of Villanueva de la Cañada, in the direction of Avenida de la Dehesa s/n, and there are several alternatives to get here:
- By car. Via the M-600, which links Brunete with San Lorenzo de El Escorial / Via the M-501, which links the M-40 and M-50 with Brunete to the M-600 / Via the M-503, which links Villanueva de la Cañada with the M-50 and Majadahonda. There is a pay parking in front of the entrance for 3 €. But very close by there is an open area where you can leave your car without paying a penny.
- By bus. Line 627 from Madrid to Brunete (leaves from Moncloa interchange) / Line 581, from Madrid (leaves from Príncipe Pío interchange).
Most exciting attractions
- Turbolance. Three different types of attractions are combined here. When you finish, you'll want to come back for more.
- Boomerang. Not recommended if you have vertigo. Holding on to a float, you will have to propel yourself down a ramp as if you were a boomerang thanks to the «V» shape of this attraction.
- Black hole. This closed black tube in which you won't know what awaits you inside until you get on it. Dizzying curves and descents, jumps and unexpected twists and turns.
- Waikiki jungle. The latest addition to the park full of mystery.

- Kamikaze. Speed is the main feature of this water attraction, for added thrills, put your legs and arms together and you'll go down like a bullet!
- Splash. This is one of the steepest slides in the park, over 15 metres high, and you will land in a pool while aquaplaning.

Moderate attractions
They are the most popular with the family. They are much more relaxed than the previous ones.
- Soft tracks. This is one of the most popular attractions for the general public. You don't use a float and you slide at full speed down these fluffy slides.
- Wave pool. Enjoy the calm sea or the waves in the deepest area. There is also a new children's area, so that the little ones can also have fun with waves of their own size.
- Fast-flowing river. You'll pretend you're riding a kayak on turbulent rivers.
- Slow river. It is a very quiet closed circuit. Let yourself go with the flow, alone or accompanied!
- Zigzag. Those over 1.20 metres tall will have fun going down these colourful, doughnut-shaped slides.
- Golden pond. Here you can swim, soak under the waterfalls or play with your friends or family. It is a large pool with a tropical feel.
- Malibu beach. More than 2,000 square metres of sand where you can relax and sunbathe, next to the wave pool. If you want more comfort you can rent a sun lounger with parasol.

And, as a novelty, the floats are now free of charge - no need to rent them as in previous years!
Children's attractions
- Children's area and Mini Park are the exclusive areas for children under 10 years old. Swings inside a swimming pool like a refreshing water castle where they will have a great time.
