The working calendar with the public holidays in Madrid for 2025 would be as follows:
- 1 January (Wednesday): New Year's Day
- 6 January (Monday): Epiphany of the Lord
- 17 April (Thursday): Maundy Thursday
- 18 April (Friday): Good Friday
- 1 May (Thursday): Labour Day
- 2nd May (Friday): Madrid Community Holiday
- 25 July (Friday): St. James the Apostle
- 15 August (Friday): Assumption of the Virgin
- 1 November (Saturday): All Saints' Day
- 6 December (Saturday): Spanish Constitution Day
- 8 December (Monday): Immaculate Conception
- 25 December (Thursday): Nativity of the Lord
In each municipality of the Community of Madrid there will be 2 local holidays (in addition to the 12 public holidays).
In the Municipality of Madrid these 2 local holidays correspond to
- 15 May (Thursday): San Isidro Labrador (Saint Isidore the Farmer)
- 10 November (Monday): Transfer of the Feast of Our Lady of La Almudena
These holidays offer several opportunities to enjoy long weekends and long weekends. For example, 1 and 2 May fall on Thursday and Friday, respectively, allowing for a four-day break. In addition, 25 December (Christmas) falls on a Thursday, making it easier to plan a long weekend.
